Despite backing Corbyn the far-left falls out with itself

The far left has been holding on-line meetings and rallies galore with another due tonight. Interestingly Momentum has rattled the cages of Labour Against the Witch Hunt (who have suddenly made their Facebook page private so much for the openness and ultra-democracy that it's backing group the CPGB WW professes). There was even a demonstration today despite the imminent lock-down and restrictions already in place. No idea how many comrades turned up but it doesn't seem to have attracted the attention they hoped.

Momentum issued a statement that recognised that antisemitism existed in the party and needed dealing with:

As Momentum and Labour Party members, anti-racism is at the core of our politics, and we firmly believe antisemitism has no place whatsoever in society and must be challenged. So this report is a reminder that whatever the values and history of the Labour Party, it can and must do better. Labour, which has grown to over half a million members, does not exist in a vacuum and is not immune from wider prejudices in society. We stand in solidarity with those affected by antisemitism or let down by the Labour Party’s handling of complaints.

But (as usual there's a but)

We must challenge those who would use the issue of antisemitism as a factional weapon.

Tina Werkman (LLA/LAW) writes:

....just sat through the Momentum rally for Corbyn. It was shocking how little Momentum has changed since its had a 'new' leadership.

All the Momentum speakers were totally in line with the "Antisemitism in the party has been terrible, we must unite to fight it."

Jessica Barnard: "Solidarity with all those Jewish people who have been let down by the party". (I don't think she meant Jackie Walker or Tony Greenstein...

.....Nothing about there being a witch-hunt. It was Lansmanism pure and simple.

It's interesting how these people like to present themselves as victims of a "witch hunt". These include the likes of Mark Serwotka the General secretary of the main Civil Service Union the PCS who joined to "help deselect MPs".

Erm ....witch hunt anybody?

In fact the Corbynistas and their allies have been attacking anyone that dares disagree with them and even now on the Momentum pages these people tell critics to "go join the Tory party".

And these organisations talk about "unity"?

These people do not want unity they want hegemony the complete control of the party and Corbyn by making himself the victim which even as dim as he is knew would happen when he opened his useless gob to deny the antisemitism and the role he and his inner circle played in the scandalous protection of racists in Labour.

Corbyn's fakery and the duplicitous nature of his supporters who claim they are anti-racists but fall as soon as it comes to Jews and probably others that dare to not fit in their twisted "anti-imperialist" view of the world.

Currently lots of the comrades have already left or are planning to do so. There are many calling for the creation of a new party. The intervention of a handful of trade union leaders like McCluskey elected by just 4% of his membership try to pretend their members a re behind Corbyn and want a left wing agenda. I seriously doubt it. Their members were not consulted and most of these organisations make it difficult for opposition to be heard anyway.

Despite their petitions (there are three doing the rounds  to my knowledge) model motions from groups desperate to compete with each other and on-line protests it's clear from the polls that Starmer has taken the right decision and as a result Labour has finally gne ahead in the polls.

We now know what the left are like when they are in charge. They act like the Stalinists of old. Give them power and they become dangerous with their intolerance. These people don't actually believe in democracy just control.

Finally I note the advert for the save Corbyn demo sated he had been fighting fascism all his life. This is a lie. Corbyn's support for Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran amongst others belies that statement completely. He was a false messiah and his disciples have also been found wanting.
