Hot on the heels of their last studio album Carnivorous which is well worth picking up comes this Live double CD from their 50th anniversary tour last year.
There's plenty to interest and entertain Hawkwind fans of all generations. I saw them live once in the seventies and one more time in the nineties. Of particular interest to me was the collection of tracks on the second CD which certainly brought back my particular memories including The Watcher, Silver machine, Hurry On Sundown and Master of The Universe.
This must have been a great concert to attend and the production values are high as you would expect from this collection of professional musicians. Something to add to your Christmas stocking from Santa.
